In this article we will take you to the discovery of the best parks and reserves, corners of tranquility where biodiversity is the protagonist and nature reigns supreme.
Among the largest natural parks of Lake Garda, the Parco Alto Garda Bresciano is a true gem. It expands from the western shore of the lake to the mountains of the Lombardy hinterland, passing through characteristic villages such as Gargnano, Tignale and Limone sul Garda.
Here you can walk along panoramic paths through the woods, spot marmots, deer and ibex, or simply enjoy the calm of the high-altitude pastures. Don't miss the trail leading to the peak of Monte Pizzocolo: the view of the lake is simply unforgettable.
One of the most fascinating reserves is undoubtedly the Rocca di Manerba Nature Reserve. This promontory dominates the south-western shore of the lake and offers a unique mix of nature, history, and views.
The park is crossed by numerous paths suitable for everyone, winding through Mediterranean vegetation and ancient archaeological ruins. At the top of the Rocca awaits one of the most spectacular viewpoints on Lake Garda.
Although slightly further away from the lake, the Parco delle Cascate di Molina is definitely worth a visit.
Located in a cool, lush valley, this natural park is famous for its waterfalls, caves, and suspension bridges. An ideal oasis to escape the summer heat, with well-marked trails that are also suitable for children.
Don't forget your camera: every corner here is a picture-postcard shot.
The Parco Naturale Locale del Monte Baldo is known as the “Garden of Europe” for its extraordinary floral wealth. As an integral part of the Garda ecosystem, it hosts one of the most important nature reserves in the area.
If you take the cable car from Malcesine (we recommend booking in advance), you will reach a true paradise for hikers, with trails of varying difficulty and breathtaking views of the entire Lake Garda area. In spring and summer, the meadows are adorned with rare and fragrant flowers: an experience that stays in the heart.

It is one of the most beautiful parks in Europe, a perfect combination of nature and the art of gardening.
